As well as skiing and snowboarding, the winter world on the Arlberg can be enjoyed in a range of different sports. We offer cross-country skiers an approximately 40-kilometre-long network of cross-country trails, toboggan runs provide a high-speed adrenaline rush, pirouettes are executed on the ice and the ice stick is guided in the right direction on the curling sheet.
How about a romantic ride in a horse-drawn sleigh or trudging over the crunching snow in snow shoes through the fairy-tale snowy mountain world.
The winter wonderland can be admired from a totally different perspective when paragliding.
Hiking over 300 kilometres of signposted trails, climbing over huge rocks, Nordic Walking for every taste or rafting over the roaring waves – the varied mountain world offers new opportunities and new challenges every day.
The Alpine terrain is not just ideally suited to hikers and mountain climbers, visitors on two wheels also love the region. Racing cyclists make the great Arlberg round trip over Alpine roads and passes.
Mountain bikers enjoy more than 200 kilometres of marked and signposted routes, from the easy climb to demanding trails over Alpine terrain. Even golfers are catered for.
